Excellent house and brilliant hosts. Chris and Wendy will make sure you feel at home in their lovely house - there is everything you could need from a well equipped kitchen, plenty of comfortable bedrooms and an excellent shower! Perfect location in Sidmouth with everything in easy reach, and a very short walk to the pub!

We stayed at number 9 Riverside 17th-20th May 2024. What an amazing house! Well equipped, beautiful and very homely and so central to the town and seafront. The parking and outside toilet was a bonus as we had a disabled person with us. Chris was on-hand via email throughout our stay with lots of tips and suggestions.
I 100% recommend staying here and we will add it to our list to return one day. Thanks Chris!!

We have just returned from 4 superb days at 9 Riverside, and what a fabulous place this is when you walk in through the front door. Immaculately clean and very spacious, well equipped kitchen to very high standards, outdoor seating area in enclosed courtyard with outdoor toilet facilities. The upstairs was just same and immaculately clean and spacious with very comfortable beds and for that good night’s sleep. This place is a gem and we will definitely return, we have to complement the fantastic hosts in Chris and Wendy who go that extra mile to make sure your stay is on another level….I can highly recommend The Swan public house just on the street corner and their Guinness is amazing 👌
Sidmouth itself is also well stocked with shops that sell just about everything if you fancy the wander around which is two streets away….the beach is virtually flat and the area is kept very clean.

Well just wow!
My wife and I spent a really lovely weekend with friends here. The house is absolutely immaculate. Wonderfully decorated in a modern style. Warm and spacious and yet cosy. The owners have put a huge effort in here to make sure every detail has been thought about in making your stay relaxing. There is an amazing traditional pub only a hundred yards away that serves great food and local beers. We spent many happy hours there! Only a short walk to the town shops and sea front.
All in all five star! We will be back.

Just returned home from spending some time at this wonderful place. First impressions are so important and I was blown away. Clean, light , welcoming are just a few things that spring to mind when you walk through the door. The owners have really thought very hard on how to make your stay a pleasure. Will definitely be back.

What a find!! We really enjoyed our stay in your fab 'boutique' style house. The furnishings are all super tasteful & comfy - especially the beds/bedding. And a five minute stroll down to the beach, with the pretty town just a few minutes on foot.
The house was well equipped with everything you could need, including those extra touches like facial wipes and some welcome goodies waiting for us on arrival. Also, plenty of dishwasher tablets, glasses & mugs in the kitchen, along with a great shower and comfy sofas. Chris & Wendy were great hosts too. We're hoping to return very soon...

Well, what a town, what a location in the town and what an ideal property to stay in.
All aspects of 9 Riverside were perfect. Spacious living room, functional kitchen and unbelievably comfortable bedrooms.
If you are ever in or near Sidmouth you will not be disappointed with this holiday home.

We had a wonderful stay in 9 Riverside over the Easter weekend and couldn't recommend the place more. It's in a perfect location, a 5 min stroll to the seafront and a stone's throw from the town. The house is immaculate, lovely decor, well equipped and large comfy beds. Chris was a great host - we will definitely be back!
